I recently spoke for @nezavisnenovine about @toni_shortfilm, the award we won for the best regional film at just-finished @festivalofserbianfantasticfilm in Belgrade, Serbia, and the difference between filmmaking practices here in the States and in Bosnia among other things. The headline is slightly taken out of context – it suggests that I said how it's cheaper to make films in the States than it's in Bosnia, which is of course not true, and it's most definitely not what I said/meant – but it's provocative, so I understand why that was the editor’s choice. I just hope it doesn't create too much controversy in Bosnia. I most definitely wouldn't want to discourage anyone from making their films over there. Filmmaking is always an uphill battle.
