Today was so much fun! I was so proud to represent my city & give the Evening Magazine crew a tour of Renton to for their "Neighbor In the Know" segment. We went to Gene Coulon Park, The Whistle Stop Ale House & Four Generals Brewing. My message was that Renton is a city of 100,000+ but it feels much more like a small town. Business owners are personable and support each other and our community. Jeff & Melinda Lawrence, owners of the Whistle Stop Ale House, along with Ross, Mike & Mary Hudspeth, owners of Four Generals Brewing, could not have been more welcoming today and reiterated my message with their friendly & generous additions to the segment. I had so much more to say than I was given time for, but I am excited to see the finished product! Shout out to my 5 & 8 year old glam squad helping me get ready this morning.
