African elephants are the largest land mammals. They are powerful and majestic and are among the most exuberantly expressive of creatures. Joy, anger, grief, compassion, love; the finest emotions reside within these hulking masses. They communicate with all their senses and even pick up sounds that travel through the ground with their sensitive feet.
