These beautiful humans are living with the devastating effects of climate change right now as the Amazon experiences one of the worst droughts it has ever seen.
Every day they’re fighting to protect the Amazon from illegal deforestation and mining. They’re protecting this vital rainforest for us all. Without it, we lose any chance of a stable climate and world.
This was their first COP and it’s amazing to see more Indigenous representatives here than ever before. It’s vital that their voices are heard by the leaders and negotiators here in Dubai. We must ensure a just and equitable climate transition for everyone. We need more action and less broken promises.
