Proud moment as we visited the @WhiteHouse with selected organizations to participate in the “End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities” challenge. As part of the #WHConfHungerHealth and #WHChallenge, we made an initial commitment to distribute 1.4M nutritious meals and provide 1.2M hours of nutrition education by the end of 2029, aiming to reach over 260K participants in low-income households across the United States. We are now striving to provide 2M nutritious meals as well as 2M hours of nutrition education to over 400K participants by 2030. This commitment aligns with the administration’s efforts to integrate nutrition and health to tackle community access issues and disparities and with our mission of championing improved community health through the power of food and nutrition. #CookingForLife #NutritionEducation @potus @secondgentleman
