Puppy Power!🐶
These 5 pups all had their first full grooms last week. They've all had at least one Puppy Pamper to help them get used to the process positively and all of them absolutely aced their full grooms.
Going at the pups pace is always the best route to go. Some puppies need multiple intro pampers and some only need one.
It's important to remember that most dogs need grooming for their whole lives, which hopefully could be up to 15 years and sometimes even longer. So the last thing we want is for them to completely dread it each time.
Ellie's Pawtique puts in so much effort into their pampers for them to see its just a normal part of life and nothing to be terrified about. Obviously, we don't exactly expect them to love the grooming process as even being away from their family is a big thing for them. But as long as come the end they realise it wasn't too much, nothing bad happens and they'll go back to their families (often they aren't interested in saying hi to their pawrents after because they want to keep playing, running around or finding treats🩷) Which absolutely melts my heart because I know everything I put in place is working and helping them!
