Back in the 1990's, when Gloss Fuel co-founder Bert was a teenager, his Saturday job was valeting and preparing cars at a prestige & sports car dealership. Waiting for him one sunny weekend was this vibrant Speed Yellow Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet, with just 15,000 miles on the clock.
As Bert recalls: “This 993 was was delivered on a warm, sunny day. Despite the Tiptronic gearbox, all I wanted to do was take the car for a ride with the roof down. But it needed valeting and prepping before going straight into the showroom. The Speed Yellow really 'popped' in the sun - a fantastic colour for a summer car. Can you believe this 911 was delivered from factory on tiny 16" alloy wheels? Back in the 90's, those tall profile tyres would have taken a lot of tyre slick 🤣”
