Direct injection (DI) technology is becoming more and more common. And while it has plenty of upsides (the ability to run higher compression ratio), upgrading a DI fuel system can be a nightmare. Many resort to just running supplemental port injection, but even that can be a headache when integrating it to a stock ECU setup.
Spool Performance, thankfully, is looking to avoid those types of headaches with the upcoming release of its AMG GDI upgraded injectors. The Spool Performance injector frees up and additional 30% fuel, which allows you to run over 1,000 WHP on straight ethanol (when combined with their FX350 high pressure pump upgrade and Stage 3 low pressure pump upgrade).
Once you’ve got the fueling, all you need to do is combine it with Spool’s IFX1200 dual ceramic ball bearing turbo, and you’re looking at over 1,000 WHP of power on a stock motor.
