Yesterday, meandering along the top of Mt Judah on skinny skis, I took a moment to look out. As one does. As Benson Boone’s chorus from ‘Beautiful Things’ exploded in my head I thought, “this is why I live in Tahoe.”
In my core, I will not always live here, but it now feels like one of the few places I will always feel at home. What a way to enjoy spring 2 (but also LFG winter 3 incoming this weekend!).
I could delve so much more into this. But for now, I will leave you with photos of the last pitch up Judah and the screaming lyrics in my head:
