August 20, 2023. After a good night sleep in Jean Barmass hut and a hot shower, I was happy to go for this short day hike to get back to my car, it was mostly downhill. On the first picture and if you focus long enough you might spot my car just below the almighty Cervino :p.
On the second picture my happy face making a selfie with that Toblerone summit, ending this journey of 140 km and ~10k meters of elevation gain.
And that was it, around noon I was already in my car going back home with a head full of powerful moments, icy and rocky passes, steep narrow paths, freezing turquoise waters, golden sunsets, beautiful encounters, magic rainbows, angry skies and wonderful radiant horizons.
This was one of my favourite treks, highly recommended and with a great variety of landscapes.
