Thank you to the fine folks at MASA Seed Foundation for hosting a volunteer day for PineMelon. These days allow us to work side by side with farmers and understand the work that goes into growing our food, all while making some new friends in the process.
MASA Seed Foundation is one of our amazing partners. They supply us with seed packets, fresh produce, and tortillas. What most people don't know is their work is critically important for the future of farming in Colorado. Working with the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at CU Boulder, MASA is harvesting seeds that are not only adapted to Colorado's unique climate, but also the changing climate.
