When we first got her, she had so much energy that she wouldn't sit still very long, especially with us. Cuddling wasn't her thing. Unless she wanted to nap. Then she would lay so close to us that she would practically be on top of us, but still beside us.
Now, she actively chooses to lay in our laps at times and will remain there for minutes instead of seconds and nudges our hands to pet her.
I'm so glad she feels safe with us and she's calmed down a tiny bit so we can show her more affection.
