Some charming little B.C natives seen yesterday on Bowen.
1-8: was the most gorgeous little annual wildflower, Collinsia parviflora, which carpeted a damp rock face and created a sea of purple. It's very small but very pretty.
It was growing alongside mosses, including what looks like a clump of Wallace Selaginella, Selaginella wallacei, and another damp loving annual, the chickweed monkey flower, Mimulus alsinoides.
