When the woman asks to go fising, you take her fishing 🎣. We contiplated going despite the wind and rain forecast. We woke up this morning, and after seeing the rain was heading out, I almost felt I need to beg even though it wasnt favourable but a chance of being ok conditions..
Ended up with a beautiful afternoon of fishing, manageable winds, and a few fish to fillet tonight to get my perch fix in. Not easy, we had to really painfully fish slow for them, we didnt come across the big photogenic girls, but good eating size, it all worked out in the end.
We wanted to test out our new 12.8V 100ah lithium battery as well from @lakesimcoepowerbox. All day running the trolling motor, constant spotlocking, and fighting 15-25km winds, it still had a full battery pulling out of the boat launch (see last video). We were impressed! No more days cut short due to battery loss!
