I sent him the beat for Nineteen while I was still couch hopping. We found out that we lived nearby. I was aware of a local show in Whittier and got him on the line up so we could meet in person and perform Nineteen together. We performed the show to a crowd of about 5 people and he still performed his heart out as if it was a stadium show and everyone could just feel the raw emotion. We spent a few hours after the show talking and he was so excited about the song that he said that it would be one of his first songs to break a million streams and take him to the next level, and he was completely right about it. After that we spoke on a daily basis and continued to keep working together as we grew to become best friends.
