"DESCRIPTION: During his study at the Southern Cross University of Lismore, Alcocer would “appropriate”paper towels from the university’s bathrooms. Enthralled by the texture, likening them to ancient scrolls, Alcocer painted his works almost exclusively on these paper towels. This work warns the audience that two clashing sides will lead to blood shed and tragedy. The more these fists continue to clash, the more blood they will shed and eventually expire.
