QUANTUM CONTINUUM: TOMMY OLIVER COMO RANGER?
David Yost released the script for Episode 2 online in late February, identities revealed to family members and a couple of well-known friends, now it’s time for the restoration of powers.
For those of you out there, Quantum Continuum is Yost’s idea for the 30th anniversary special featuring the cast of the first season. Outside the canon of the established universe, the project honors the MMPR by ignoring events and characters outside the original group. So no Adam, Aisha, Rocky, Kat... or any other Power Rangers team.
In episode 02, it shows that Tommy was able to identify the main locations from which certain groups of dinosaur remains were discovered on the planet. With that, Billy Cranston rebuilds the coins and crystals of power, and as the Green Ranger Dragon is a mythological figure, it has not been possible to restore (so far) his powers.
With Trini’s death, the Sabretooth Tiger morpher is at the disposal of Tommy Oliver who assumes the mantle of the Yellow Ranger on the team in the project.
