Preparation for a newborn session is needed to avoid frustrations and hassles during the booking process. We always recommend pre-booking your session during pregnancy. You will be busy once your baby comes out. Most of the time, you won't be able to find time to search for your baby's photographer. And sometimes, the schedule you prefer is not available.
To ensure that you have a slot in case we need to reschedule, as a dedicated newborn photographer, we do not fill our week. We only accept newborn clients 12x a month, and only 3x a week to ensure we have enough days for rescheduled sessions. And we only shoot once a day to minimize the risk of infection/transmission of sickness as much as possible and have ample time to disinfect my stuff, and myself.
