Description:
The New Denver Visitor Centre is co-located with the Silvery Slocan Museum in a beautiful 1896 heritage building - the province’s first Bank of Montreal - on New Denver’s main st. The friendly staff provide visitors with the information they need while maintaining a mature and respectful demeanour. This employment opportunity provides valuable work experience in the customer service and tourism industries and is funded by @columbiabasintrust
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors, providing information and documenting daily statistics
- Maintain the Visitor Centre (cleaning, stocking merchandise, etc.)
Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Ideal candidates are personable, enjoy helping others and have a general knowledge of the area
- Available from July 1st - September 2nd
Wage:
$17.40
