Any a' ya' poozers ever take a look at Young Earth Creationism? That's a blanket term fer people who think th' universe wuz created by some divine force or bein' much more recently than its estimated 13-and-a-half billion year age.<br /><br />Kilomin wuz raised that way. He started learnin' about th' science behind th' big bang 'n evolution in his early 20s, cuz it's fascinatin' an' really cool! But lemme tell ya, once ya' know th' actual scientific evidence, all th' various Young Earth Creationism ideas seem no less ridiculous than this classic silver age explanation!<br /><br />Here in th' US YECs tend ta' be evangelical Christians followin' con-men like Ken Ham or Ray Comfort, but there's actually a whole lotta YEC myths, mostly found in fundamentalist sects a' various religions. Some a' 'em seem really wild ta' folks raised in US culture, but from an evidence-based standpoint they're all pretty identically ridiculous!
