Eid Al-Fitr, which translates to "festival of breaking the fast," is a significant celebration for Muslims as it marks the end of their month-long fasting during Ramadan. During their fating, Muslims abstain from eating and indulging in vices such as gossiping and lying from sunrise to sunset, giving them time for self-reflection. During this period, they are also reminded to be charitable to those who are less fortunate. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Eid Al-Fitr for over three days through prayer, feasting, parades, gift-giving, and charitable acts.
We would like to extend our warmest greetings to all our Muslim friends on this joyous occasion of Eid Al-Fitr!
