@UnitedWay_BC had the honor of joining fellow leaders from the Non-Profit Sector for a significant event at the BC Legislature this week!
In partnership with @VantagePointBC and the BC Non-Profit Network, we had the privilege to shed light on the vital state of BC’s non-profit sector. Together, we explored how collaboration between government and non-profits can be enhanced to better serve our communities.
Our sector is the backbone of BC's economic and social fabric, but we're faced with the challenge of doing more with less, stretching our resources thin. By advocating for government policy solutions, we aim to strengthen the sector, aligning our efforts with the BC government's priorities such as enhancing food security, championing Indigenous and racial justice, and supporting newcomers as they settle into their new homes.
