Quoted: “Joined another great photo walk with @the_bronx_photowalk.
Starting at Poe Park, we visited Edgar Allan Poe’s cottage. Did you know he lived his last few years in the Bronx? Yep, and his cottage is preserved as a little museum that you can visit. After we creeped around, we hopped on a couple of buses to Wave Hill. There’s also a shuttle bus that’ll take you there, but that doesn’t really have the same character as a good old-fashioned NYC bus on a Saturday afternoon. Once at the gardens, I made my way through their cute little Woodland trail, where I walked up and down hills, over stone walkways, and past beautiful trees. When Photowalk ended, I took off on the red and blue trails of Riverdale Park. Kind of a little creepy, not gonna lie, but a lovely urban hike right by the Hudson River. The little nooks and crannies of the city never cease to amaze me.”
