Richmond recently had a pop culture moment thanks to a little show called Ted Lasso, but there’s so much more to it than our favorite TV coach’s adopted home. It has a beautiful waterfront, historic stately homes, picturesque nature, fun and storied watering holes where you could potentially rub elbows with the likes of Sir David Attenborough. It’s a quick trip from central London and well worth the pilgrimage whether you do a day or a weekend visit.
And because I know you’re all wondering: yes, the Richmond football team is fictional.
