I didn’t think I’d like the trope because the tension of enemies to lovers always gets me, but I can say I throughly enjoyed it. The chemistry these two had was fantastic! Jax and Hailey knew each other so well from the years of friendship, that it wasn’t hard to take their relationship to the next level. Once they did there was no turning back. Hailey had some internal barriers to work through before her and Jax could truly be connected, but once she overcame those, they were perfect. <br /><br />Hailey is the epitome of sunshine in human form. She is so tender and caring, even when she is down in the dumps she tries to uplift others. She truly did not deserve the treatment she got from her toxic (ex)boyfriend in the beginning of the book. He did a number on her, so it made me very happy when Jax showed her what it truly means to be loved. <br /><br />Jax is a lover boy but knows how to pinpoint when it’s appropriate to be a fighter. For Hailey he is attentive, protective, and respectful, but if someone crosses her the wrong way he can be a scary mf. Jax has always loved Hailey, it just morphed into more throughout time. Jax knew Hailey was the one for him. <br /><br />Overall, I recommend 2 Fights to be added to your TBR. It is phenomenal friends to lovers story in my opinion. At the time I read this, I hadn’t read many friends to lovers stories. I didn’t think I’d like the trope because the tension of enemies to lovers always gets me, but I can say I throughly enjoyed it. The chemistry these two had was fantastic! Jax and Hailey knew each other so well from the years of friendship, that it wasn’t hard to take their relationship to the next level.
