This sweet butterfly was a salvaged applique' piece from a very old quilt (30s, likely) and I recrafted it into a 9" x 8" pillow. The backing is coordinating vintage fabric. Red thread shows against the raw edges. Just look at the tiny blanket stitching around the red butterfly!
Some stains are common in vintage fabrics, even though this has been washed prior to crafting. It is stuffed with polyfill, but can still be "fluffed" in the dryer when needed.
