Our elementary students did a marvelous job writing and presenting their poems for our poetry café! A highlight of the event was when Kelani read an acrostic poem she wrote about her mom. She described her mom as "magnificent, open heart, my friend, my hero, and your heart". It was a beautiful poem honoring her mom! Kelani is pictured here with her mom and grandma.
