Now here’s #vespathursdaytrivia story! In 1980 a French team of 4 riders headed out on the famous Paris to Dakar Endurance Race of 10,000km. On their Vespas!!! On January 1st, 1980 they set out on P200E scooters together with 211 other cars, bikes and trucks. Did they finish the race? Partially. Two of them did. On January 23rd M. Simon and B. Tcherniawsky were amongst the 81 competitors to make it and cross the finish line 🏁
