Midday lady or 'Poludennitsa' is a slavic folklore mythical character. As the legend goes, this beautiful but cruel deity of the fields tends to entrap and kill any wanderer, who happen to stay on the field and sleep there till midday. She is usually portrayed as a rugged beauty with a vicious sickle in her hands, dancing among wheat fields.
