'States' explores the 'conceptual and physical constructions of borders – however tenuous – to define ideas and purport control.'
In response to @zoe_leonard_studio Zoe Leonard’s exhibition and book ‘You see I am here after all’ (Dia Art 2008), the ‘Center for Archival Interpretation’ presents a screenplay adaptation of its quarterly ‘Journal of Alternative Archives’, a dossier surveying display methods for ‘un-archival’, from 3-screen reconstructions of ‘Raumlichtkunst’ @ctrvisualmusic to Leonard’s ~4,000 postcard reconstructions of Niagara Falls at the Whitney Museum (‘Survey’ 2018 @moca), as applied to a re-reading of the prototypical zombie movie ‘Night of the Living Dead’.
