Last light on Half Dome.
It was the end of a long day of travel and we were driving through Yosemite Valley with a bit of traffic. I looked out the window, saw Half Dome shining against the Merced River and immediately jumped out with camera in hand. The light was glorious.
I met a man named Joel on Sentinel Bridge who was also grabbing a couple shots and we got to talking. Can’t remember about what, but I’m sure it was photography related. He had a beard that could rival Poseidon’s. Then it turned out, of the hundreds of campsites in the valley, he had the site directly next to ours that evening. Funny how the universe works sometimes.
