Sometimes the smallest things have the biggest effect... these tiny little springs sit inside the Submarine, you wouldn't even know it's there but without it the pickup wouldn't work at all. I love taking all the small components and carefully putting them together to create each individual pickup.
I don't know if you know, but I had assemble every pickup that gets ordered in my workshop, pretty satisfying stuff seeing them end up on your guitars!
