We're getting excited for our first ever Instagram Scavenger Hunt! Starting on Wednesday, May 1st, we're inviting Tehachapi and neighboring communities to explore the greater Tehachapi area with this fun hunt. This event is designed to highlight the various areas of Tehachapi, where businesses and organizations serve the community. Throughout the month of May, various hints will be shared with participants that lead to locations all over the area. Once found, participants will solve the clue, visit the location, take a picture and send it to us. It's free to participate and the winner will receive $1,000 sponsored by local business Knight Building Systems. Prizes will also go to 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th place winners, and more. We're encouraging the community to have some fun with this and to follow @chambertehachapi on Instagram for updates on business resources, chamber events and more.
