Bento trays with deep fried and delicious pork/chicken cutlets are the go to at @katsukatsu.newmarket often with a que. Seated at the bar, there's oddly a display shelf of drinks you can't buy? Nevermind, they have dessert. 😋

Served on a tray with miso soup, a dipping sauce, rice and pickles, the katsu was certainly a highlight of the trip, and felt like home. Caramelized onions sat on the hot plate with chicken resting on top. The sauce was perfect, well balanced. Sorbets in such a cute serving bowl! Table tennis ball sized, diet approved.
