워싱턴 디씨에 2년 반을 살면서 언제든 갈수 있다는 생각에 미루고 미루다 결국엔 떠날 때까지 한 번도 못 올라가본 워싱턴 모뉴먼트
디씨를 떠나온지 8년만에 돌아와 드디어 올랐다.
이렇게 오래 걸릴지 몰랐지.
옆에 있다고, 언제든 할 수 있다고, 미루지 말자.
+ 내려올 때 엘레베이터 투명해지면서 미국의 여러 주에서 기증한 돌판들 보여주는 거 (난 전혀 몰랐기 때문에) 너무 멋진 서프라이즈였음 🇺🇸

Despite living in Washington DC for two and a half years, I never made it to the top of the Washington Monument, always putting it off with the belief that I could go whenever. After leaving DC, I realized I'd missed out.
It took 8 years to return, and we finally made the climb.
Lesson learned: Seize the moment before it slips away, unless you want to wait for another 8 years.
