Pearl Jam’s new studio album ‘Dark Matter’ is the most Pearl Jam has sounded like Pearl Jam in a LONG time. I’m not sure what led us to this album… but whatever it was, worked. The album is pretty damn solid for a bunch of dad’s pushing their 60’s!
I’ll say, the first two songs on the album came out the gate like a piss-rocket, and ‘Wreckage’ was an unexpected momentum killer, but it wouldn’t be a Pearl Jam album without some mid-tempo acoustic-driven goodness.
This is the Record Store Day release on a beautiful vinyl record ‘ghost’ pressing with changeable labels! What did y’all think about the album!?
