Guess who finally got a mirrorless camera 🙋🏼♀️
One of my first sessions with my new Nikon Z8, the sun was just about to set and I wasn't seeing much. I decided to try and get a photo of a Black-fronted Dotterel that was nearby. I laid down and pointed my camera at him, next thing I knew, I was SURROUNDED by about 12 of them. They came so close I couldn't even focus on them. One literally almost walked on my mat. I'm around these birds often and have never had this experience. The difference here being the silent shutter. Gone are the days of scaring these tiny birds off by the sound of my camera!
