The single most important thing we can do to glorify God with our reading is to make sure we are spending time in His Word.
Scripture is the primary way that God reveals himself to us. He tells us through his Word how we should live in light of the fact that he has graciously saved us. When we spend time reading and studying the Bible we learn many things, including what brings glory to God.
Knowing what the Bible says sets us up to be discerning when we come across things in the books we read that do not align with the truth of scripture. This will help us to make good choices about what books we choose to spend time reading and how we apply/internalize the things we do read.
