Well, the wedding (and reception) have been just lovely. If I was ever to plan š¬ yet another wedding, Iād want it to be just like this one. š A beautiful mix of formal and informal, sort of a Boho chic with a modern (but not too pretentious) twist. Two dining areasāone outside, one insideāwhich were used to mostly accommodate the weather, and boy oh boy did we ever need THAT today.
Kudos to the caterers! Food was mostly farm fresh, prepared locally, vegan/vegetarian friendly in many respects and the dancing so far has been courtesy of not ONE but TWO live bands (no DJs)āone was like the down-home country band in āSteel Magnoliasā and the other played the kind of get-up-and-dance music a German band in, say, DĆ¼sseldorf would play if it wanted touristy Americans to get up and boogie. šŗYou know what I mean? Motown. MJ. 80s stuff. Gladys Knight and Chaka Khan have played their roles tonite, hunty. I danced quite a bit! šŗ Gānite! ā¤ļø
