Gallery Hyundai presents ’Beyond Iridescence‘, a solo exhibition commemorating the 3rd anniversary of Kim Tschang-Yeul’s passing, from April 24 through June 9, 2024.
The exhibition is Kim‘s fifteenth solo exhibition with the gallery, illustrating his longstanding examination into the essence of visual art by way of his iconic ’water droplets‘.
The exhibition displays about thirty important works in remembrance of Kim’s groundbreaking artistic trajectory, from the early 1970s to his later years in the 2010s.
The audience will experience the half-century history of Kim’s challenges and endeavors in his artistic vocabulary.

전시회는 작가가 갤러리와 함께하는 15번째 개인전으로, 그의 상징적인 오브제인 ’물방울‘을 통해 시각예술의 본질에 대한 오랜 연구를 보여줍니다.
이번 개인전에서는 1970년대 초부터 2010년대 말 까지 김창열 작가의 획기적인 예술적 궤적을 기억하는 중요 작품 30여점이 전시됩니다.
