I am noticing how I have been feeling as things shift, change and rearrange themselves -- sometimes for me the art making reminds me of things -- and I can't shake the feelings -- but at the same time I feel grateful that I am able to move through the emotional waters of life --
I have been coming up against and running into some very deep questions within myself -- turning and facing it more and more -- somehow the Art carries me off into distant horizons -- this weekend I remembered that love remains -- through all kinds of weather -- there is hope.
And maybe an Artists job is to be receptive, stay open and try to catch all the colors of emotions and let them run together -- to stay strong in the face of adversity -- to let the many waters of life wash over in color, line, shapes and forms -- in order to reassemble the broken bits and put everything back together.
There is a mystery and magic that still permeates everything even when the days are dark -- there is color and light to be found.
