Spending a lot of time along the river, by bridges and crossing locks. And a lot of time in pubs, which have been amazing, even in very small places. My favorite time of day is getting to the hotel at the end of the day, with weary and sore feet, and with pant legs and shoes covered in mud, and heading to our room for a warm shower and a warm cup of tea. Drinks in the pub afterwards isn’t too bad either.
