Donald birthday is coming up on June 9th, and I’m ready to celebrate the #number1duck with my @loungefly from @worldoneonegames and my #fantasyband from @fairytalewishdesigns
It took me a very long time to understand why Donald is marketed with an angry face so often. That poor temperamental duck is always being harassed and things never just work out on the first try for him. And the thing is.. he expresses those feelings! To be honest, I think Goofy and Donald may be the most mentally sound in the whole bunch.
Goofy sees the bad parts of the world and fully acknowledges them and then speaks his truth regardless of people’s opinions. And Donald? He does NOT bottle up his frustration at all! He’s capable of saying “I’m mad! This is unfair and I don’t deserve this!”
We all need to find healthy ways to deal with life’s disappointments. Donald blows his top then gets right back to life. That’s peak resilience!
