π Pizza Hut-Inspired Homemade Dough π
π Ingredients:
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
1 1/3 cups warm water (105Β°F to 110Β°F)
3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
πͺ Instructions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water with a teaspoon of sugar, let it sit until foamy, about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt.
Add yeast mixture and olive oil.
Stir until dough forms then knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Punch down and form into pizza bases. Pre-bake at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 8 minutes before adding toppings.

For a crispier crust, roll the dough thinner and pre-bake until lightly golden before adding toppings.
