Today, Villa Walsh Academy’s Athletic Leadership Council (ALC) traveled to Manhattan to visit Microsoft’s NYC Headquarters!
Margo Connors, Business Director of Americas Customer Skilling Programs at Microsoft, and former VWA Varsity Basketball Coach, hosted an exciting and informative day for 27 of VWA’s finest students.
The girls began the day with a presentation of Microsoft’s historical achievements as one of the Big Five American information technology companies, followed by an inspiring presentation by Samantha Falcucci, a former Hunterdon Central Student-Athlete and current Microsoft Senior Customer Success Account Manager.
The girls toured the Microsoft Technology Center, where they learned about AI and the many ways in which AI helps train medical professionals, and they ended their day with a Women Career Panel Q&A, which established the fact that women in technology and STEM are definite assets in the industry!
