βΌοΈ Jared Anderson will fight Deontay Wilder in an all-American heavyweight showdown on August 3rd in Los Angeles live on DAZN, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has announced.
πΊπΈ Anderson (17-0, 15KOs) will fight former WBC heavyweight champion πΊπΈ Wilder (43-3-1, 42KOs) on a huge card in LA, as long as Wilder is ready to fight in time following his June 1st clash against π¨π³ Zhilei Zhang (26-2-1, 21KOs) in Riyadh.
The fight vs. Anderson in August is not dependant on whether Wilder wins or loses against Zhang in June, but rather whether he is ready to fight again so quickly. Wilder has declared that he is ready to face Zhang in June and Anderson in August and has signed for both fights.
