Ark Nova: Marine Worlds 🐳

We finally had a chance to break out the expansion for Ark Nova after receiving it for Christmas. It doesn't change the overall game a ton, but I like what was added. The new sea life cards are great, with their card churning and combo making abilities. But the real star for me was the new asymmetric action cards that give players a pair of unique bonuses tied to specific actions. The smidgeon of variability they bring adds a nice wrinkle to the puzzle of creating your perfect zoo (slash aquarium). I'm not as enamored with Ark Nova as I was when it first came out, but it's a perfect Sunday afternoon game to spend a couple hours relaxing with.
