Merry meet everyone, and happy Tuesday!

We hope the past month has been kind to you all, and if not we hope that next month will bring more healing and growth from this last retrograde. It is now a period to get our lives and routine back in order, so with Venus entering Taurus today, let us check in with the Tarot and see what Spirit has in store for us this week.

Card of the Week: 9 of Wands (Spiritual Strength from The Psychic Tarot Oracle by John Holland)

The 9 of Wands is a card that recognizes the struggles and wounds that we bear in order to achieve our goals. This makes sense with the passing of the last retrograde, since now it is time for us to recuperate, count our chickens and fortify ourselves. The traditional depiction of this card often shows an individual who is battered and injured holding themselves up with a staff (or wand) with the other 8 wands erect behind them like a fence or a wall. This can often signal that you need to pay extra care to yourself first before tackling the outside world again. This goes especially for those who hide their own struggles from others very well. Healers also need time to heal, and to be an effective healer, you must care for your own mind, body and spirit too.

In this depiction of the 9 of Wands, aka Spiritual Strength, a monk stands in an almost meditative stance while his spirit holds up forces above. This can also be a sign to discipline yourself, even if (and especially if) it is difficult to do so. In some forms of martial arts, the body is fortified by putting it under various forms of stress and even trauma. For example, some bones are strengthened due to micro-fractures caused through training. When the bones heal, the bone grows back stronger and harder. The same principle can be said about our spiritual path as well especially with activities such as meditation. It is hard and sometimes stressful at first but it is all to strengthen and fortify your mind, body and spirit. Life will naturally do this for us as well, so now is the time to focus on your own well being and heal in order to strengthen yourself.

Blessed Be,
🌒🌕🌘 ✨🔮✨

#ladyofthelake #tarottuesday #shopsandiego #shoptemecula
