As I was watching the feeders today for some Indigo Buntings that had stopped by earlier, I was treated to the local pair of Northern Flickers flying into the yard. I was only able to photograph the male, who you can distinguish from his black "mustache," while the female was up in the dogwood tree. This is by far my best photo of a Northern Flicker.
