I want to take this moment to celebrate my own #CoolKid and what marks a significant milestone in our journey.
Yesterday, April 30th, was the 22nd anniversary of the day my son Jordan suffered a traumatic brain injury at just two months old. The doctors' prognosis was uncertain, and we were told he might not survive or might be in a permanent vegetative state. But God had other plans!
Fast forward to today, and Jordan is thriving as a 2nd year student at Morehouse College! I am overwhelmed with pride and gratitude, reflecting on the incredible progress he's made. College has brought its challenges, but Jordan's persistence and resilience continue to inspire me and so many others.
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported us along the way.
Your love, encouragement, and prayers have made a world of difference in our lives. Jordan's journey is a testament to the power of faith, hope, and determination. He is living proof that a disability does not equal inability.
Here's to many more years of growth, learning, and triumph! ❤️
